Unexpected Talents

Sometimes it can be hard to think about sharing your talents. I mean what does little old me have to offer to the world? Well, that's a very good question. I will probably spend a life time slowly unfolding  but and pieces of that answer.  I have a few unique talents- two of them are sleeping and talking. Being able to talk is a blessing and can also be a struggle. All throughout my life talking has helped me excel in certain areas , but in areas such as school it sometimes leads to problems. Even though there's always good and bad in life and I need to make sure  that I strive to use my talents the way god intended. What better way is there than to use your talents to help God's children here on earth. There is no greater task. I've realize that I can not only use my voice vocally to spread the gospel and help others, but I can use my voice online too. I now realize that simple things I do online can make a big impact on someone's life, even if that someone is me. My goal is to ensure that everything on my Facebook  page, Pinterest, and other sites reflect a righteous daughter of God.

Called to TYPE.

"You have a great opportunity to be a powerful force for good in the Church and in the world. There is truth in the old adage that " the pen is mightier than the sword." In many cases it is with words that you will accomplish the great things that you set out to do. And it's principally about ways to share those words that I want to talk to you."

In life sometimes the simplest things can make the most profound difference. I feel like a lot of times people(including myself) feel inadequate and intimidated to share the gospel. Everyone is unique and sometimes there are people that you can reach that no one else can. A lot of people might feel uncomfortable speaking to others in person about the gospel but they feel totally fine expressing their beliefs online. It is our duty and privilege to share the gospel with as many people as possible and in as many ways as possible.

"The Resoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ has no doubt had a powerful impact on your life. It has, in part shaped who you are and what your future will be. Do not be afraid to share with others your experiences as a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ. We all have interesting stories that have influenced our identity. Sharing those stories is a nonthreatening way to talk to others. Telling those stories can help demystify the Church. You could help overcome misperceptions through your own sphere of influence, which ought to include the Internet."

Do you need to teach the discussions  to share the gospel? No. We are so blessed in these latter days with endless gospel spreading tools right at our fingertips. There are so many different things you can do that you can find something that caters specifically to your needs and wants. If you can make blog where you share your experiences with the gospel of Jesus Christ. You can write and publish music online. You can reach out to non-member or inactive friends of yours. Spreading the gospel is a personalized journey. We need to take advantage of the blessings of modern technology and use it to further the work of God on the earth.  * quotes by M. Russell Ballard

My Perfect Day

What would my perfect day be? Hmm, that is almost impossible for me to squeeze into words. I love so many things that 24 hours would only be the tip of the iceberg but here it goes.  It would have to fall on a Saturday, because nothing beats the feeling that comes when you turn off the ever so dreaded alarm with the knowledge that you can sleep in till whenever your heart desires.I would definitely start my day off with an adventure-breakfast. It would probably consist of chocolate chip waffles, strawberries, blueberries, almond milk (thanks to lactose intolerance) , and a generous side of nutella of course. Then after that, I would probably hop in my private jet and be instantly transported to the breathtaking beaches of Greece (or Hawaii, whichever is more convenient at the time). I would then conquer a thrill seeking adventure of cliff jumping into the Mediterranean Sea. After that the sand would exfoliate my feet as I run across the beach and take in the beautiful scenery. Then I would be headed  to paradise, Italy. Then the tall, dark, and handsome Prince Charming of my dreams would sweep me off my feet into a gondola. We would then paddle through the canals of Venice, while Benjamin Weyland serenaded us with the accordion. Then I would travel to a quick but unforgettable service trip to a third world country. After realizing how grateful I should be for my life I would return to my humble dwellings- Cedar Hills, Utah. Then I would have a bowl of ice cream and watch a movie of choice with my besties. Lastly, I would wrap myself with the softest blanket in the world and slowly drift into sleep with Mozart fainlty playing in the background. I would thank God for letting me experience such a perfect day. Then I would pray to God to help me enjoy all the great days ahead of me and make the best out of all my tomorrows.
